Kamath lokaruchi, South Indian food paradise

While heading back from Kokkare bellur to Bengaluru, we were searching for nice place to have evening snacks in Mysore Road. And one hotel caught our eyes with plenty of people around, Kamath lokaruchi, a vegetarian restaurant near Ramanagara.

Being on the side of national highway NH-275 there is no shortage of parking space. Once we got inside we were welcomed by the rustic setup and traditionally dressed waiters. Menu had almost all famous South Indian snacks like dosa, idli, obbattu, vada, mirchi bajji etc. This place is quite famous and taste is worth every penny.

After treating ourselves, we wanted to see folklore museum Janapada Loka which is adjacent to hotel. Unfortunately time was 5PM and the guard at the entrance told museum is closed. Definitely I will go back to this place again. Nearby some shops selling local handmade crafts are there. After buying few souvenirs we drove back to Bengaluru with the taste of Kamath lokaruchi still lingering in mouth and soul ☺️
